flamenco sketch #01

Our daughter was born 3 months premature. This morning, we were able to take Chelsea home. A candy striper who took oddly attentive care with our case seemed to be bearing some distress when Chelsea was returned to our arms. Anyway, we brought Chelsea home and our relief and elation at her homecoming was lightly sullied. Chelsea began an impenetrable crying jag, no sleep no eat no silence. We were baffled. Finally--the oddest thing--we found the source of Chelsea's discomfort; a long thick hair was bound about her toe, the one that is the analogue of what would be her ring finger. My wife removed the hair and Chelsea became calm. There remains some redness on her toe, but I'm sure it will dissipate. We love you, Chels!
